Before registering for the email mailing list (email list), each registrant is required to confirm that they are 18 years of age or older. Joseph Caldara and Silver Moose Press, L.L.C., assume no responsibility in the event that the registrant is under 18 years of age and falsifies their age during the registration process.
When someone registers for the Black Walrus fan club, Silver Moose Press, L.L.C., collects limited personal information directly from the registrant by requiring the registrant to fill out a signup form. The following personal information is collected:
- First and last name
- Email address
No other personal information will be collected from a registrant. Personal information is stored via the Mailchimp online mass communication platform.
By registering for the Black Walrus email list, the registrant acknowledges that Joseph Caldara and Silver Moose Press, L.L.C., are not responsible for breaches of personal data, as the databases containing that personal data are managed by Mailchimp.
Email list members will receive the mass email communications sent to all members. These communications include announcements of upcoming books and events, links to products of interest, behind-the-scenes book writing content, and other communications for entertainment and informational purposes.
Email list members’ personal information will never be disclosed to third parties. It is viewable only by Silver Moose Press, L.L.C., and Mailchimp.
Silver Moose Press, L.L.C., will never require an email list member to disclose more information than their name and email address. Email list members may, at any time, direct Joseph Caldara and Silver Moose Press, L.L.C., to delete their personal information.
