Welcome to my website! My name is Joseph Caldara, and I’m a Middle Grade author. I write The Black Walrus, an Amazon international bestselling series of comedy/adventure books for 4th-9th grade boys.
The series is about Alex Portobello, an inventive eighth-grader who gains superhuman intelligence from an experiment gone wrong. Using his new irradiated super-brain, Alex builds a bunch of crime-fighting gadgets and wages war on Cremini City’s criminal underworld as the masked crime-fighter, the Black Walrus.
